Lynn Kau

Mr. Kau serves as the Head of Corporate Development for Realterm out of the New York office. Prior to joining Realterm, he was an executive director at J.P. Morgan Chase where he tailored coverage for real estate clients, including publicly traded REITs and real estate asset managers. His involvement in M&A and advisory assignments, with a focus on capital structure and liquidity management, contributed to more than $30 billion in financing transactions. He also played a key role in raising more than $3 billion in public equity offerings, showcasing his proficiency as a lead-left bookrunner on significant IPOs.

As an investment banking vice president at Credit Suisse Group specializing in real estate, lodging and gaming, Mr. Kau demonstrated expertise in multiple M&A processes across various sectors, including REIT, homebuilding, and special servicing. Notable transactions include the sale of Silverleaf Resorts and financial advisory for Digital Realty Trust’s $8.4 billion acquisition of Interxion.

Mr. Kau holds a Master of Business Administration (MBA) from Yale School of Management and a Bachelor of Arts from Yale University.
