State-of-the-Art, 350,000-SF Facility at JFK
The Port Authority of New York and New Jersey and Realterm are developing a state-of-the-art $145 million, 350,000-SF cargo facility on more than 26 acres at JFK International Airport. The project is part of a comprehensive Port Authority strategy to bring 21st-century standards to cargo operations at all of its commercial airports.
State-of-the-Art Freight Terminals in Mesa, Arizona
Sonoran Gateway Exchange is a two-building development, located in Mesa, AZ, adjacent to the Mesa-Gateway Airport and Loop 202. The 35-acre site will feature two state-of-the-art freight terminals with significant trailer parking to serve growing distribution demand in the Phoenix market.
Final Mile Distribution Facility in Chicago, Illinois
Realterm and The Missner Group successfully completed a ±130,000-SF final mile distribution facility in Chicago’s Stockyards Industrial Park. The property features 32’ clear heights, 26 dock positions, 20 trailer stalls, two drive-in doors, and parking for 276 cars. The property enjoys access to a wide labor pool, excellent access to I-55, I-94 & Downtown Chicago, and is located in Enterprise Zone 2, offering sales tax exemptions and utility tax exemptions. Mr. Westmoreland is responsible for leading Realterm’s development services platform for transportation-advantaged and on-airport logistics facilities. Previously, he held a similar role at McCaffery Interests focused on mixed-use developments. Mr. Westmoreland holds a BS in Construction Science & Management from Clemson University and an MBA from the Georgetown University – McDonough School of Business.
