Christy Gahr

Ms. Gahr is responsible for capital raising across North America and supports the firm’s product development and capital strategy initiatives. Ms. Gahr has over 15 years of experience in real estate investments.  Prior to joining Realterm, Ms. Gahr was a Managing Director at Virtus Real Estate Capital, a private equity real estate investment manager, overseeing the firm’s capital raising and strategic initiatives.  She was a member of the firm’s Investment Committee and DEI Committee.  Prior to joining Virtus, Ms. Gahr was a Principal at Meketa Investment Group, an investment consulting and advisory firm serving institutional investors.  While at Meketa, Ms. Gahr oversaw the firm’s real estate investments, managing discretionary and non-discretionary real estate mandates, as well as supporting the firm’s general consulting practice.  She was a member of the firm’s Private Markets Investment Committee and Compliance Committee.  Ms. Gahr holds a B.A. in Finance from Northeastern University and is an active member of numerous industry organizations, including Pension Real Estate Association and Women in Real Estate.
