Amsterdam, Netherlands (October 12, 2023) – Realterm today announced it has started construction on a recently acquired 16,485-square-meter industrial outdoor storage (IOS) development site in Venlo, Netherlands.
The site includes two ingress/egress points for trucks to enhance on-site traffic flow and can accommodate up to 100 trucks. Realterm’s current design incorporates cutting-edge features including paving, fencing, LED lighting, electric gates and green spaces.
Situated within the prestigious ‘Trade Park West’, this Tier 1 transportation hub boasts high demand from a diverse group of transportation users. The location offers easy accessibility to the A67 highway that connects Antwerp and Germany and is in close proximity to rail and inland terminals.
“We’re excited to share that the development is on track to get underway before the end of the year, with delivery expected by the firstquarter of 2024,” said Leonie Kierkels, Director of Asset Management at Realterm. “We have completed the design and are starting the permitting process, which means we can accommodate changes or additions to the design based on a potential occupier’s needs.”
