De Prefabiek takes 4,900 sq m at Scharenburg 5
Amsterdam, Netherlands (January 23, 2024) – Realterm announced today it has secured a long-term lease at its high flow through (HFT) industrial facility located at Scharenburg 5, Amsterdam, NL with de Prefabriek. The prefab home extension specialist (www.deprefabriek.nl) will occupy 4,199 square meters of warehouse space, 541 square meters of office space, and 272 square meters of mezzanine and outdoor space.
Situated in Sloterdijk, a dynamic business park primed for logistics operators, Scharenburg 5 offers excellent connectivity to both regional and international markets via major highways, the Port of Amsterdam, Amsterdam Airport Schiphol and Amsterdam city center.
Realterm will deliver the upgraded space to de Prefabriek in February. Property enhancements will include installing a separation wall in the warehouse space, new LED lighting, skylights, replacing dock doors, adding LED lights in the outdoor area and a full office refurbishment. Additionally, the property will undergo a complete façade renovation.

De Prefabriek is a leading construction company specializing in prefab building solutions. The pre-manufactured extensions customized to the customers’ needs produced in its central production facility are transported to the customers’ homes and installed within five days from start to finish, significantly reducing construction time at a client’s home. This new location at Scharenburg 5 positions the firm to optimally serve its customers and streamline the delivery and construction of materials.
