Realterm recently closed on two mission critical transportation and logistics assets. The first asset, a truck maintenance facility in Atlanta, is strategically located among major transportation nodes, including immediate access to the 675 and 285 freeways and 15 minutes to Atlanta International Airport. The second asset, a container storage and drayage yard in Dallas, is less than 5 miles from I-45, I-20 and the Union Pacific Intermodal.

“The addition of the Dallas asset is emblematic of Realterm Logistics’ long-term commitment to acquiring strategically located drayage facilities in core U.S. markets,” said Rob Moriarty, Associate Vice President of Acquisitions. “The investment reinforces our continued focus on functional transshipment properties that offer users access to an abundance of transportation infrastructure and major population centers.”

“Situated in one of Atlanta’s major freight corridors, the Ellenwood asset is a continuation of our strategy of acquiring functional secure parking facilities across the country,” added Ben Andreycak, Associate Vice President of Acquisitions. “Our deep experience with this property type has enabled us to expand our already large footprint in what is a critical cog in the high-flow-through logistics supply chain.”

Highlights of the Atlanta asset include:

  • Square feet / doors: 46,205 SF / 18 drive through overhead doors
  • Land area: 14.83 acres
